At Giannini Law Office, PC we handle all types of criminal cases to include both felonies and misdemeanors. The felony cases we are able to handle include murder, rape, child molestation, aggravated assault, burglary, armed robbery, and drug offenses.
The most common misdemeanor cases we see are driving under the influence (DUI), possession of marijuana, battery, shoplifting, underage drinking, driving while suspended, and various traffic offenses.

WHERE WE GO
Our practice area is centered primarily around the Metro-Atlanta area, and the counties to the north and to the east of Atlanta. Atorney Robert Giannini regularly appears in the courts of Cobb, Fulton, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Hall, Dawson, Walton, Barrow, Jackson and Clarke Counties.
The trial of felony offenses are handled in the Superior Court of the County in which the offense is alleged to have ocurred. However, the preliminary hearings associated with these cases may be held in a lower court of the particular county, most often the Magistrate Court or the Probate Court.
Misdemeanor offenses can also be tried in the superior court, but most often will be handled in a lower courts. Several counties now have State Courts that provide jury trials for misdemeanor cases only. Bench or judge trials may be held in the Probate Court, Magistrate Court, or State Court, depending on the county.
Additionally, Municipal Courts of the towns and cities also handle non-jury trials of misdemeanor cases.
